Previous Coaching: Southport High School Junior Varsity

Coach Isaiah Cousins is a veteran of the Southport coaching staff. He has served most recently as junior varsity head coach leading the JV Cardinals. Tasked with developing the future varsity players for the Cardinals, Coach Cousins embraces the challenge and motivates every day.

 

Coach Cousins has been on the boys' basketball staff since 2012 and was an assistant coach for the 2016 Final Four team that featured future college stars Joey Brunk and Paul Scruggs.

At Southport High School, Coach Cousins is a Student Services Coordinator helping students stay on track toward graduation and earning credits while also dealing with disciplinary issues. He also coaches defensive backs for the Southport Cardinals Varsity Football team. He played his high school basketball at East Chicago.
