Southport Youth Basketball
Southport Boys Basketball has several ways to get involved with hoops this season.
We are committed to developing a love for the game of basketball through skill development, sportsmanship, and competition.
SYBL Youth Night @SHS Fieldhouse
All SYBL players and families are invited to SHS for the Southport Boys game SHS vs. Columbus North this Tuesday, February 13th.
ALL SYBL players will join their teammates before halftime of the JV game at approximately 6:30 pm and walk across the fieldhouse floor to be recognized. We will return to the court for National Anthem and starting line ups of the varsity game. We look forward to seeing you there. Remember to wear your SYBL jersey to the game.

As we finish up the 2023-24 season we appreciate all of our players, families, coaches, and officials for a wonderful season. We appreciate Perry Township for supporting our youth program. We are thankful to be able to use the elementary schools, Southport 6th Grade Academy, middle school and SHS for allowing us to use these facilities.

SYBL End of Season Tournament
​
We will play an end of season tournament to wrap up our 2023-24 Season.
The tournament format is based on the results from the season. Each team is seeded based on the record. 1 vs. 8, 2 vs. 7, etc.
If a team wins, they will advance, if the team losses, than their season is over. Each team will receive medals for their participation. The winner of the tourney will receive a trophy but not a medal at the end of the game.

SYBL Recreational League
GO CARDS!
Southport Future Cards Travel Basketball
An opportunity for 4th, 5th and 6th graders to represent the Southport Future Cards Travel teams against other local schools. Teams of 8-10 players are selected after tryouts based on fundamental skills level, attitude, effort, and experience.
All players selected will compete in our SYBL this winter and attend additional practices throughout the week, play games, and play in tourneys on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the winter season.
An additional fee of $150 will be charged for a travel team jersey, warm up top, and cover the cost of entry fees for tourneys. Fees collected throughout the season.

We have currently filled our rosters for 2023-24 SFCT.
